DESCRIPTION:Step back in time at Parc de la Gorge as we celebrate our 50th anniversary!\nDid you know that the first official visitors to Parc de la Gorge entered the site on October 3\, 1976? To mark this milestone exactly 50 years later\, on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, admission to the park will be offered at 1976 prices! \nHiking admission is just $1.50 per person and $5 per family. Admission is free for residents of the Coaticook RCM (proof of residency required). \nIn the afternoon\, enjoy a variety of special free activities included with the purchase of a ticket. Festivities will take place at both of our welcome centres. \n  \nOne Day\, Two Locations to Celebrate \nTo help you get into the spirit of the day\, we’ve put together a special “Back to 1976” music playlist. (Did you know that 50 years ago the park offered guided tours of Coaticook aboard a fire truck? We’ve found the very same truck!) \n🎞️ The immersive experience 50 Years\, 50 Voices highlights stories and memories shared by builders\, employees\, partners\, volunteers\, and citizens who have helped shape the park’s history. Created by Bain de Minuit\, this journey through time is sure to stir emotions.
