FEBRUARY<\/strong>, PLAY OUTSIDE! A program to appreciate the benefits of the outdoors with ease at Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em> and Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coaticook, January 26th<\/sup> 2023<\/strong> \u2013 In February, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em> and Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em> offer a variety of activities that will meet the needs of various customers having one thing in common, the desire to enjoy the outdoors within their enchanting sites!<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal of FEBRUARY<\/strong>, PLAY OUTSIDE!<\/strong> is to liven up our sites by offering special events throughout the month of February and not one weekend only, such as in the past years with La F\u00eate des Neiges<\/em>. The new 2023 concept is part of the Plaisirs d\u2019hiver<\/em> calendar and it allows us to highlight our offered activities, but in an improved way to welcome people again and again. explains Caroline Sage, general manager of Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em> and Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em>.<\/p>\n

CLOSED FEBRUARY 4th<\/sup>, RESCHEDULED TO FEBRUARY 11, 2023!\u00a0 SATURDAY ON ICE AT PARC D\u00c9COUVERTE NATURE<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Park is kicking off its fishing season through the organization of a fishing tournament in which participants may catch the paying trout. Four larger rainbow trout were identified. Each lucky fish will allow the participant \u00a0to win $500. Each contestant will have one hour to complete the challenge. A special ticket will be sold on the site to participate in this adventure!<\/p>\n

Daily access is required and it includes fishing equipment and bait as well as access to Acoatica in winter version! You can test your knowledge and skills in this virtual fishing game by playing the various interactive and immersive inside games. Please note that Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em> will be open on February 11, 18 and 25th<\/sup>, 2023 and reservations are required in order to have the desired time period.<\/p>\n

FEBRUARY 11th<\/sup> , 2023 – STAR SATURDAY \u2013 5 to 8 PM AT PARC DE LA GORGE DE COATICOOK<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Park extends its opening hours for a 5 to 8 under the stars! Bring your skates and enjoy the outdoor rink to the sound of DJ FBI. It will make you move, sing and have a magical evening!<\/p>\n

Fans of evening activities will be able to take up the Li\u00e9ri challenge, this outdoor escape game will be offered during this event only! Who is Li\u00e9ri? It is a mythical creature that usually goes into hibernation in the fall, but not this year. The Li\u00e9ri stayed awake this year and wants to amuse visitors on the mountain path. Access to 17 km of fatbike trails will also be available. A headlamp will be a must for both the Li\u00e9ri and the fatbike activities. The purchase of a daily ticket is required.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 FEBRUARY 18th<\/sup>, 2023 – SWEET SATURDAY AT PARC DE LA GORGE DE COATICOOK<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With the purchase of a daily ticket for one of the Park’s activities, visitors can ride a sleigh for free. This sleigh ride is the perfect means of transport to the farmhouse! For a few dollars more, visitors can indulge their sweet tooth and taste taffy on snow and even meet the Cannelle and Mocha ponies who will be on duty to offer rides. A snack bar featuring local flavored products including alcoholic beverages will be open for Sweet Saturday at Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em> as well as for Star Saturday and Samily Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 FEBRUARY 25th<\/sup> , 2023 \u2013 FAMILY SATURDAY AT PARC DE LA GORGE DE COATICOOK<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dog sled rides are back from February 25th<\/sup> \u00a0to 28th<\/sup> \u00a0with the discovery formula! People will be able to drive or be transported by a team of dogs who love humans! Reservations are mandatory and include access to winter hiking trails, snowshoeing, fatbike, farmhouse, inflatable games and pony rides (extra charge)! Parking is free.<\/p>\n
