In 2025, we reaffirmed the strength of our collaboration and laid solid foundations for the future. Events integrated into Foresta Lumina, unique lodging options, and a new public space all demonstrated the team\u2019s creativity and capacity for innovation. We approach 2026\u20132027 with confidence,\u201d said Caroline Sage, General Manager.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Jean\u2011Yves Caron, Chair of the Parks\u2019 Boards of Directors, highlighted the Mobilisation petits bedons campaign, which showcased the solidarity that unites the community. \u201cThanks to the generosity of visitors, families, residents, and an anonymous donor, a total of $15,650 was donated directly to children and schools most in need. For the Board of Directors, this mobilization confirms the importance of our social role and strengthens our commitment to supporting youth in our region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Development Projects: Eco\u2011Habitats and Public Space ($4.2M)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The year 2025 saw the rollout of the first mobile eco\u2011habitats\u2014eco\u2011friendly units inspired by the elements (earth, water, fire, air) designed to welcome guests year\u2011round.<\/p>\n<p>A new multifunctional public space was also developed, enabling the hosting of events and community gatherings while showcasing eco\u2011responsible landscaping.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attendance Reflecting the Parks\u2019 Strong Appeal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook: 271,573 visitors. Foresta Lumina remains a must\u2011see attraction in the Eastern Townships, reaffirming its appeal after twelve seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature: 8,542 visitors. This growth is attributed to a thoughtfully crafted experience and a committed team, positioning the attraction as a unique destination to discover.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notable Experiences and Innovations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A diverse event program at Foresta Lumina, including performances by Alex Nevsky, Domeno, and Phil Lauzon, which were enthusiastically received.<\/p>\n<p>Les Rendez-vous du samedi brought winter to life through collaborative programming.<\/p>\n<p>Foresta Lumina welcomed its one\u2011millionth visitor, a symbolic milestone for an experience offered since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Parc de la Gorge hosted its first disc golf tournament, a sport rapidly growing in popularity across Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature\u2019s Souper D\u00e9couverte Hu\u00eetres reached record success, raising $10,000 to support its educational mission.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Year of Continuity\u2026 and Celebrations Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The momentum will continue into 2026, which marks the beginning of the 50th anniversary celebrations.
