Snow scooter rentals<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Park has acquired a fleet of snow scooters. This Scandinavian tradition is gaining popularity in Quebec and combined with the enthusiasm for the winter outdoors, this has created the ideal time to enhance the equipment rental offer already in place (snow bikes \/ fat bikes, snowshoes).<\/p>\n
Renting scooters can spice up winter hiking and is an excellent exercise suitable for anyone who desires something new in simplicity. The supports added to the scooters allow children (1 to 5 years old) to be seated in complete safety. For older children, no support is required. They can sit comfortably to be “pushed”.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have thought of people with reduced mobilities for whom this activity is ideal. You simply need to find the right teammate! We have also set up a prototype project that combines snow scooters and dogs. It is possible to rent a dog harness weighing 65-70 lbs that attaches to the scooter. We will test these arrangements and if the interest is noteworthy, we will evaluate the possibility of buying harnesses of different sizes “adds Caroline Sage.<\/p>\n

The dog sled reservation includes access to the trails (winter hike, snow bike \/ fat bike and snowshoeing), to the skating rink and to a small slide. Visitors must bring their sleds and skates (no rentals available on site). Although, Snow bike \/ fat bike, snowshoe and scooter rentals are available on site (extra charges will apply).<\/p>\n
Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em><\/strong> offers a multitude of marked and well-maintained trails for winter hiking (7.5 km), snowshoeing (21 km), snow biking \/ fat bike (17 km) and ice climbing (8 walls).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Parc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nIce fishing is a must! Fishing rods and baits are provided free of charge as well as a training in regards to the best practices of this winter sport. The entrance fee includes a fish, access to fishing ponds and winter hiking (Windmills Trail) without forgetting a delicious hot apple cider with local flavors.<\/p>\n
Visitors will be able to bring home their fresh catch since the fish (brook trout) will be cleaned by our on-site personnel as they are caught. Visitors are also invited to bring their container for ideal transportation and environmental reasons. Enjoying your fresh fish in the comfort of your own home.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see that people are actively looking for outdoor activities. Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook<\/em> is a non-profit organization welcoming more than 300,000 visitors annually. Being a major tourist player in the Eastern Townships region, it offers its visitors outdoor activities within all seasons: Foresta Lumina, hiking (summer and winter), mountain and snow biking. (fat bike), snowshoeing, ice climbing, all seasons accommodations (camping, refuge and ready-to-camp), snow scooter, outdoor escape game.<\/p>\nParc D\u00e9couverte Nature<\/em> is a non-profit organization welcoming more than 9,000 visitors annually.
