Your challenge and your role at the Parc de la Gorge and the Parc Découverte Nature:

Welcome, accompany, and engage with visitors and/or groups
Collect payments and balance cash registers
Sell boutique products and activity tickets
Assist, under the supervision of the Purchasing and Campground Welcome Operations Director, with inventory of internal and retail products
Open and close the welcome center
Describe and comment on the environment and points of interest
Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the visit or excursion
Close trails and ensure no one remains on them
Perform cleaning tasks
Patrol the grounds, pick up trash and litter, and ensure trail conditions are maintained at all times
Respond to customer inquiries and handle complaints professionally when necessary
Work closely with other departments
Perform any other tasks requested by management

Required skills

Group facilitation and leadership skills, with strong verbal communication abilities
Customer service skills (friendly and polite)
Professional attitude and behavior (teamwork, autonomy, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, honesty, versatility, resourcefulness, initiative, organizational skills, etc.)
Knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions (an asset)
Good physical condition
Ability to handle stress
Aptitude for learning various computer software programs

Parc Découverte Nature is a non-profit organization welcoming more than 12,000 visitors annually. Located within less than 15 minutes from Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, the activities of this park are numerous: the Acoatica interactive survival adventure, fishing in ponds and ice fishing.
