An Enhanced 2nd Edition for the « Little bellies mobilization » by Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook and Parc Découverte Nature.
Coaticook, August 19th 2024 – The Parks are proud to announce that the « Little bellies mobilization » event will return from August 31st to September 2nd. This initiative, started by one of our employees, its purpose is to raise funds to provide balanced meals and nutritious snacks to schools in the City of Coaticook.
During the Labor Day weekend, for every ticket sold online and on-site (hiking, mountain biking, Foresta Lumina, and Acoatica), $1 will be donated to various food assistance programs at several primary schools in Coaticook.
“Last year, we raised $2,166 during a one-day event, including a generous $500 contribution from Promutuel Assurance. The 2024 edition, which will span on three days, gives visitors the opportunity to contribute to this noble cause. We firmly believe that every child deserves to start their day with a full stomach and a peaceful mind. The « Little bellies mobilization » is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years,” says Caroline Sage, General Manager of Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook and Parc Découverte Nature.
Aware of the importance of healthy eating to promote learning and well-being in students, the Parks have once again decided to leverage their resources and community commitments to continue making a real difference.
We invite everyone to join us from August 31st to September 2nd for the « Little bellies mobilization ». For more information about the event and how to participate, please visit our website or contact us directly.
