Coaticook, May 30th, 2017 – Fishing Day is back at Parc Découverte Nature for everyone to enjoy! The event will be held at Parc Découverte Nature on Saturday, June 3, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Free admissions for all fishermen and upcoming next generation with a chance to catch a free fish (16 years and under). Wildlife Officer presentation is offered free of charge for the first 50 children (6 to 17 years of age) who register at 1-888-849-2677. Registration includes a fishing rod, permit and a fishing rod assembly workshop.
Fishermen are also invited to take up the 5 money making trout challenge. Five identified trout are currently swimming in the park’s ponds. Each person that catches one these assigned trout will receive $ 50.
During this special day, several appealing activities especially the JUMPAÏ! Four independent trampolines allowing everyone (adults and children, size required: 36 “and more) to jump around before or after their fishing experience! Photo attached.
This Fishing Day includes inflatable games, make-up artist, percussion workshop, a visit of the most high-tech fish farms in North America, hot dogs and BBQ on site to cook your catch!

Parc Découverte Nature is a non-profit organization with over 9,000 visitors annually. Less than 15 minutes from Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook numerous activities are offered such as: pond and river fishing, on-site BBQ activities to cook your catch, wetlands exhibitions and bird watching. During winter season, ice fishing is a must!
