A work born from the forest
Pianist-composer Roman Zavada invites audiences to experience Forest for Two Pianos, a unique concert inspired by his album of the same name. The pieces were created and recorded directly in the forest, on pianos left outdoors for several years, shaped by the seasons, weather, and silence.
In this open-air piano laboratory, the instruments evolve, the sounds transform, and a new kind of music emerges—organic, intimate, and deeply rooted in the land.
On stage, Roman Zavada recreates this universe through a multimedia musical experience, blending piano with sound sampling. The performance becomes a true journey through time, memory, nature, and creation.
