Pets are accepted, although they must be kept on a leash at all times in the Park (including on the campground). They are however prohibited in the shelters, ready-to-camp tents.

The trail closes at the end of the day upon varying schedules depending on the date. We recommend that you check the schedule and “wheather forecast” before you move.

The suspended footbridge is closed during the winter season.

Snow scooter

It is not possible to bring your snow scooters for this year.

The snow scooter rental is done online only. Access to the trails is not included in the rental cost, although you may obtain them online by clicking here or directly on site. You must go to the campsite reception area upon your arrival to check-in.

Fatbike

The trails are easy to expert level.

The legend of the Liéri, outdoor escape game

The game of escape and outdoor hiking is approximately 1 h 30 to 2 h on the mountain trail (3 km).

The Liéri escape game is a beginner level and it is suitable for families.

Skating rink

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the capacity is 50 people.

You must bring your skates. No rentals are available on-site.

We offer a small outdoor shelter.

Ice climbing

The initiation including access, equipment and the instructor is available by reservation by going directly through the company Chamox.

Camping

We invite you to consult the website of the Society for the Protection of Forests Against Fire in order to find out whether open fires (campfires) are authorized or not.

We also invite you to read the recommendations for campers at Camping Québec. The pamphlet for campers is very complete and will allow you to prepare your stay accurately with us!

Before your arrival, be well informed and well equipped!

To avoid disappointment, please refer to the summer schedules section of our website.

  • Make sure you have a tablecloth on hand for your picnic table.
  • Consider the option of bringing your own sports equipment if necessary.
  • If you have a reservation for a shelter or a ready-to-camp, you must bring your bed linen (sheets, pillows, towels).

The day of your arrival and during your stay with us

  • Your campsite will be accessible as of 2 p.m. and departure is scheduled for 11 a.m.  Shelter or ready-to-camp will be accessible as of 3 p.m. and departure is scheduled for 11 a.m.
  • When you arrive at the site, you must send only one representative per group of campers to the reception. Individuals accompanying you must remain in the vehicle.
  • If you purchased your bag of wood and/or ice bags when you made your reservation, you can collect them in the small shed located next to the campground’s reception. It is also possible to make purchases at the same place.
  • Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook camping offers a wide range of activities. On site, you can take advantage of Foresta Lumina (this activity implies additional costs and prior online purchasing is recommended), hiking and mountain biking (included with accommodations). You can refer to the schedule of all these activities and more on our website.
  • Hiking and biking trails are now available via the Ondago free app.

Check-ins are at the campground’s reception desk (400, St-Marc Street, Coaticook, QC J1A 2M3). When you arrive at the site, you must send only one representative per group of campers to the reception. Individuals accompanying you must remain in the vehicle.

It is possible to modify your reservation by e-mail : accueil@gorgedecoaticook.qc.ca (please include your e-mail and telephone number in case we need to get in contact with you) respecting the following conditions:

  • Modifications within 7 days of your arrival date, a $5.50 plus tax fee will be added for all necessary changes.
  • Within 6 days or less of your arrival date no modifications will be accepted.

Cancellation of your reservation is possible by e-mail : accueil@gorgedecoaticook.qc.ca (please include your e-mail and telephone number in case we need to get in contact with you) respecting the following conditions:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of your arrival, a $10.00 fee plus tax will be added per campsite cancelled.
  • Within 6 days or less before arrival, full payment of the reservation will be withheld.
  • For a cancellation on the day of arrival, if we do not receive further communication from you, your campsite will be held until 11 am the next day. Beyond this deadline and if we do not receive further communications from you, the reservation is canceled (full stay) and the full payment is retained.

Service charges are non-refundable. A minimum of 3 nights are required for reservations when considering the following statutory holidays: National Patriots Day (Victoria Day), St. Jean Baptiste Day, Canada Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.

Starting in mid-March each year, it will be possible to reserve camping spots online or by phone for the following year’s camping season.

Your campsite will be accessible as of 2 p.m. and departure is scheduled for 11 a.m. Shelter or ready-to-camp will be accessible as of 3 p.m. and departure is scheduled for 11 a.m. If you have a reservation for a shelter or a ready-to-camp, You must bring your bed linen (sheets, pillows, towels), soap and dishcloths and food. Each campsite may accommodate 2 adults and 4 children (under 18 years of age). Additional charges apply for additional people (per night). Children under 5 years of age are free of charge. A maximum of 8 people, (6 adults) must be respected at all times. If additional equipment is added to your campsite, please make sure it fits on your site. Curfew and tranquility must be respected from: 24 h (midnight) to 7 am. Each shelter or ready-to-camp V1-V2-V3 accomodate 4 people and 2 people for ready-to-camp V4-V5.

It is not possible to arrive earlier than pre-established check-in time. Following these guidelines allows our maintenance team to ensure acceptable cleaning of all campsites. However, you may certainly have access to hiking trails before check-in time. In order to do so, pass by the campground’s reception desk.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to leave later since we have a heavy turnover rate of campers arriving daily.

Hiking trails and mountain bike trails are free of access with accommodation bookings. Foresta Lumina is never included within accommodations reservations although you may reserve your tickets on forestalumina.com.
